This project began as a way to keep the café’s story alive while we’re temporarily closed — and quickly turned into something so much more.
We're bringing our food-themed menu to life through heartfelt characters, slice-of-life storytelling, and a splash of anime-inspired chaos. Every episode is written, directed, and produced in-house with the same passion that fueled our café.

Let’s Play! Panini-Chan is a food-themed animated mini-series that brings the heart of Let’s Play Café to life in a brand-new way.
What started as a sandwich shop turned into a storytelling studio. When we couldn’t find the opportunities we needed… we created our own.
Follow Panini-Chan — a warmhearted grilled sandwich — and her flavorful friends as they navigate high school drama, part-time jobs, magical mishaps, and their own quirky feelings.
With fully voice-acted characters, a cast inspired by real café menu items, and themes of friendship, identity, and flavor — this series is a love letter to small business dreams, creative persistence, and community-powered storytelling.

Every character in this series is based on a real menu item from Let’s Play Café — each one inspired by flavor, personality, and fandom fun.
Here’s your guide to the sandwiches, parfaits, potions, and soda pops that make up our quirky cast.
🧡 Panini-Chan
A grilled sandwich with a warm heart and a fierce sense of identity. She’s trying to figure out what makes her her — and how to stand proud when the world sees you as just another snack.
🍓 Parfait-Kun
Panini-Chan’s childhood best friend, Parfait-Kun is sweet, thoughtful, and always by her side. He’s layered with quiet feelings he hasn’t quite found the courage to share.
🥪 Sandwich-San
Sharp-tongued and secretly soft, Sandwich-San is in the same class as Panini-Chan — though she’s a year older after being held back. She pretends not to care, but her protective streak and silent admiration for Panini say otherwise. Just don’t ask her to admit it.
